Dr. Anoop Kumar Rathore having more than five years experience in agricultural research and technology extension prior to joining PSSCIVE. He received B.Sc. (Agriculture) from Indira Gandhi Agricultural University, Raipur; M.Sc. (Agriculture) with specialization in Agronomy from Rajendra Agricultural University, Pusa; Ph.D. (Agriculture) with specialization in Agronomy from Indira Gandhi Agricultural University, Raipur. Dr. Rathore’s specialized areas of work are: conservation agriculture, nutrient management, and weed management. He has mostly worked on farmer’s participatory research in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. He has to his credit several numbers of publications in NAAS Listed journals, peer reviewed journals and popular magazines etc. He participated in several national, international seminars, conferences and workshops. Dr Rathore bagged two best paper presentations awards, first at Biennial Conference of Indian Society of Weed Science held at MPUAT, Udaipur during 1-3 March 2017, and second at Annual Review Workshop of Krishi Vigyan Kendras under NICRA Programme organized by ICAR-Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture, Hyderabad during 4-6 June 2019.
